A Web portal is a landing page designed to link to multiple other websites that share similar topics or are part of a website network. The portal allows users to quickly view a list of the networked sites and navigate between the sites from one location. If you want to see how many hits your Web portal receives, you must use an online measurement tool, such as a hit counter. Hit counter services provide information about how many visitors your portal gets, what sites link to your portal, the type of search results visitors use to find your portal and which links on the portal visitors click.

There has actually been some grumbling about the possibility of what we call a brown Christmas. I say each day we that we don’t have snow on the ground is one more day that we don’t have snow on the ground.
The free snow was at Capital Deals at 710 Smith Ave. St. Paul, MN. They had to close the store for a day because of the snow. I took this photo on December 19th 2010. We had so much snow last year that there was still a couple of piles of it in June and no I am not making that up.
People get a grip! We will have snow on the ground and it will be months before we see bare ground again.

Martin Z. Margulies made his fortune building a series of high-end properties that dot the South Florida coastline. Hes spent much of that wealth collecting and subsidizing contemporary art, both here and around the world.
For the last half-decade, its been much more of the latter than the former.
Good news for his accountant: Business, at least for the next 18 months, is back.
Bucking local and national trends, Margulies broke ground last weekend on the boutique Bellini Williams Island, a 70-unit tower of three-bedroom condos listed between $1 million and $4 million.
The 24-story complex, which is billed as the final property to be built in Aventuras exclusive Williams Island community, is set to open in summer 2013.
Theres demand, said Margulies, 73, when asked why he decided to begin construction.

An interactive map makes it easier to track county-by-county population changes in Florida. It shows which sub-groups have grown and by how much between the 2000 and 2010 census.
Only two Florida counties saw a population decrease over the period, for example, Monroe and Pinellas. However, the Jacksonville area, Central Florida, and few Panhandle counties saw greater than 20 percent growth.
The tool includes 12 maps (click on the arrow by “view more maps” in the upper left), including some specific to real estate, such as the number of vacant homes and the change in vacant housing units.
